2. Biometric (Face) Data

FacePass uses facial verification technology to provide secure, fast, and contactless identity verification for participating events. Biometric processing occurs only after obtaining your explicit consent.

During enrollment, the application temporarily captures a facial image using your device camera. The captured facial image is immediately processed to generate a one-way encrypted biometric template (also referred to as a biometric vector or mathematical representation).

FacePass does not access, collect, store, or use Apple's Face ID biometric information.

We use your information solely for legitimate purposes, including:

• Creating and managing your FacePass account
• Identity verification
• Facial verification during event entry
• Ticket authentication
• Fraud prevention
• Preventing duplicate or unauthorized event access
• Customer support

• Maintaining system security
• Complying with applicable laws

FacePass does not use biometric data for advertising, behavioural profiling, targeted marketing, artificial intelligence model training, or unrelated analytics.

4. User Consent

FacePass collects and processes biometric information only after obtaining your explicit consent. By enrolling for facial verification, you consent to the processing and secure storage of your biometric template for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

You may choose not to enroll in facial verification. However, certain FacePass features or participating events that require biometric verification may not be available.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by requesting deletion of your biometric profile. Withdrawal of consent will permanently disable facial verification for your FacePass account until you enroll again.

5. How We Protect Your Information

Protecting your information is one of our highest priorities. FacePass implements industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including:

• Encryption of stored biometric templates

6. Information Sharing

FacePass respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, license, or monetize your personal information or biometric data.

Biometric templates are never shared with advertisers, marketing companies, analytics providers, event organizers, or any unrelated third parties.

Event organizers do not have access to your FacePass account, email address, phone number, biometric template, facial image, or any other personal information stored by FacePass.

FacePass facial verification devices perform identity verification entirely within the FacePass platform. No biometric template, facial image, or personal account information is disclosed to event organizers during or after the verification process.

We may disclose information only when required by applicable law, a lawful government request, court order, or other valid legal process.

7. Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide our Services and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Encrypted biometric templates are retained for 12 months from your last successful biometric verification or account activity. Before the retention period expires, FacePass will request your consent to continue retaining your biometric template. If renewed consent is not provided, your biometric template will be permanently deleted from our secure systems.

You may request deletion of your biometric template at any time by contacting FacePass or through the available account management features. Upon verification of your request, your biometric template will be permanently deleted. Original facial images are never retained after biometric processing.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
